Ayo Edebiri

Ayo Edebiri ( ; born October 3, 1995) is an American actress, comedian, and television writer. Since 2022 she has played chef Sydney Adamu in the comedy-drama series ''The Bear'', for which she won a Golden Globe Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and a Primetime Emmy Award, as well as a nomination for a Directors Guild of America Award for directing the episode "Napkins".

Edebiri has been a writer and voice actor on ''Big Mouth'' since 2020 and was a writer for the comedy series ''What We Do in the Shadows'' in 2022. In 2023, she voiced roles in ''Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse'' and ''Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem'' and starred in the comedies ''Theater Camp'' and ''Bottoms''.
