He is also the lead singer and guitarist for the band Hot Leg, formed in 2008 and now on hiatus. In 2021, Hawkins launched a YouTube channel entitled ''Justin Hawkins Rides Again'', where he does comedic analysis on songs or artists in addition to covering news in the musical community.
