Robert Eggers

Robert Houston Eggers (born July 7, 1983) is an American filmmaker. Largely known for writing and directing historical fiction films, his most notable works are the horror films ''The Witch'' (2015), ''The Lighthouse'' (2019) and ''Nosferatu'' (2024) as well as the action film ''The Northman'' (2022).
