Rupa Marya

Rupa Marya is a doctor, activist, musician and writer based in San Francisco. She is a professor of medicine at the UCSF School of Medicine and co-author of the book ''Inflamed: Deep Medicine and the Anatomy of Injustice'' (with Raj Patel). She is currently suspended from teaching and banned from the UCSF campus after challenging the presence of an Israeli medical student at the school on social media. Provided by Wikipedia
