Review by Horn Book Review

Gresham, Lewis's adopted son, offers his thoughts about each recipe and includes a related quote from the Narnia stories. Unfortunately, a thorough understanding of culinary terms and procedures is assumed, and many of the dishes require advanced cooking skills. Much of the food is very British and unlikely to appeal to American children. Ind. From HORN BOOK Spring 1999, (c) Copyright 2010. The Horn Book, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Media Source, Inc.
