Review by Horn Book Review

The entire Bear family suffers when Brother's terrible report card gets him grounded: no one can go out to the movies, Sister has nobody to play with, etc. Attempts at humor are cliché-ridden clunkers, Brother's academic turnaround is implausibly swift, and the stereotypes abound, as usual (disciplinarian father, goody-goody sister, etc.), but loyal fans of the cartoon bears probably won't mind.
