Review by School Library Journal Review
PreS-Simple stories for fans of the busy mouse. In the first book, Maisy's friend Charley helps her tidy up her house and is rewarded with a cupcake, while in the second, Maisy learns just how much is needed to quench the thirst of an elephant. In both titles the bright, colorful illustrations face a page of large-print text. Delightful books that will help reinforce the concepts of helping and sharing.-Wendy S. Based on short adventures from the film series starring the cheerful mouse, these slight books lack the charm of Cousins's pop-up books. Maisy fans will be drawn to the bright illustrations, but the simple stories seem incomplete. From HORN BOOK Fall 2002, (c) Copyright 2010.
