Review by Publisher's Weekly Review

Another Don Freeman story, Will's Quill, originally published in 1975, tells of a goose, Willoughby Waddle, who travels from the English countryside into London, "startled to see so many people rushing helter-skelter through the narrow cobblestone streets." When a young Shakespeare shows him kindness, Willoughby follows Will, lending him a feather with which the Bard writes his first play. (c) Copyright PWxyz, LLC. All rights reserved
