Review by Horn Book Review
These formulaic volumes introduce a variety of prehistoric species, describe their physical appearance and size, and offer informed speculation on topics such as feeding habits, migration, and extinction. The brief, superficial texts are accompanied by mediocre illustrations and the occasional relevant photo. Each volume includes double-page spreads identifying specific dinosaurs, a map of ""fossil finds,"" and an illustrated timeline. Glos., ind.
