Review by School Library Journal Review

K-Gr 4-Each book starts off by explaining that these parks are "areas of land set aside for people to visit and enjoy nature." Readers are then shown where the park is located and given a brief history of the area and a description of its geography, flora, and fauna. On each page, bright postcard-quality photographs are closely matched to the texts. These are colorful guidebooks for rudimentary reports and for children who want a brief synopsis of the sights to see in each area.-Tanaz Sutaria, John Gomes Elementary, Fremont, CA (c) Copyright 2010.
