Review by Horn Book Review

This story of child inventor Lewis and his trip into the future (where he meets the Robinson family) is contrived and convoluted. Children unfamiliar with the animated movie will have trouble understanding the awkward, clunky text. Stick with William Joyce's A Day with Wilbur Robinson rather than this overblown derivative. Cartoon illustrations that look like movie stills accompany the story. (c) Copyright 2010. The Horn Book, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Media Source, Inc. No redistribution permitted.
