Aussie quilters Doughty and Fielke present a collection of patterns inspired by vintage quilts, which range from classic patchwork to quirky applique. The cutting and piecing directions are clear and easy to follow. Many of the patterns call for reproductions of vintage fabrics, but the designs could easily be executed in contemporary fabric for a different look and feel. Fun. (c) Copyright 2010.
