Review by Horn Book Review

Text by Susan Hill. Marley's family members can't wait to bring their enormous pumpkin to the fair. But exuberant Marley knocks it out of the pickup truck, where it rolls down the street and crashes into a tree. Luckily, the delicious pies the family bakes make it a blue-ribbon winner after all. The very slim story is accompanied by stiff Dick-and-Jane-ish illustrations. (c) Copyright 2011. The Horn Book, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Media Source, Inc. No redistribution permitted.
