Review by Horn Book Review

These large-format, high-interest titles provide facts about some common machines used in building and construction, their parts, and how they work; spreads are self-contained and stay focused. The sentences and paragraphs are brief and accessible, but spiky font makes the texts somewhat difficult to read. Vivid photographs on every page may also make the books appealing for pre-readers.
