Fans of Davidson's culinary mysteries featuring caterer Goldy Schulz will gobble up this 16th installment. Goldy, married to a detective in the Aspen Meadows, CO, sheriff's department, often finds herself involved in his cases. Here, her desire to help her friend and fellow chef Yolanda Garcia draws her into a murder and arson investigation. Barbara Rosenblat, a superlative and award-winning audiobook narrator, has voiced this and all other titles in the series. Recipes mentioned in the story are a staple of these books and generally top-notch, but the audio format makes their use difficult. Verdict Overall, Davidson's fans and all lovers of culinary mysteries will appreciate this audiobook.
