Leblanc, who has taught perspective at French universities for nearly 20 years, explains principles precisely and clearly and includes enough geometry to fully illuminate concepts without straying too far into math class territory. While all the perspective basics are covered, the principles are also applied to drawing subjects, like human figures and interior views, beyond those commonly associated with perspective. The sketches included by the author and his students liven up the lessons. This new book on the familiar technique of perspective drawing presents well-worn material in a fresh way.
