Review by Booklist Review
The golden retriever detective keeps his sleuthing skills sharp in this sixth Buddy Files installment. A library sleepover with his owner Connor provides the pooch and boy an opportunity to figure out if the school is haunted by Agatha, the ghost of a former student. A stormy night with flickering lights seems to confirm Agatha's presence or does it? Buddy's keen sense of smell, particularly for junk food associated with each individual, heightens both the gentle humor and suspense, while the cracking of secret codes adds further intrigue. The ending suggests more cases to come for this congenial canine.--Leeper, Angela Copyright 2010 Booklist

In this sixth installment, Buddy, the gentle and exuberant therapy dog, helps a group of fourth graders discover the secret of the school ghost during a slumber party in the library. The readable text, likable narrator, cheerful illustrations, and dynamic plotting make this series entry an appealing package for chapter book readers. (c) Copyright 2012.
