Review by Library Journal Review

K-Gr 3-These easy-to-read titles describe their respective animals, including their physical characteristics, habitats, diet, behavior, and uses to humans. Topics are presented in double-page spreads with a full-color photograph on the left and the text, running no more than five sentences, on the right. For each title, an activity/connector is appended. Cerdos/Pigs points out the intelligence of these creatures-they can be taught to fetch, to roll over, and to race. A wonderful photograph shows a handful of babies, which the author states were born after a gestation period of three months, three weeks, and three days. The craft project is a piggy bank. Good for both informational and recreational needs, these books will enjoy a wide readership.-Wanda C. Rivero, New York Public Library (c) Copyright 2010.
