Mistrust builds between domineering Clear Sky's camp and wise Tall Shadow's, with Thunder, who's lived in both, caught in the middle. The novel culminates in a battle that ends with the spirits of the dead rising with a warning for the living. There are plenty of (tortuous) plot points here, along with foreshadowing that should be meaningful to series fans. (c) Copyright 2014.
