Mola (150 Best Sustainable House Ideas) visits close to 70 dwellings showcasing the skills used by designers, architects, and inhabitants to create a comfortable home in a small space. Beginning with a 125-square-foot pod, the residences shown get progressively larger and conclude with a home that measures just over 1,100 square feet. Although 150 ideas are given, the more than 500 color photographs provide additional insight into the ways in which color, lighting, and multipurpose furnishings have been used. Mola shares apartments and houses found in both urban and rural settings primarily located in Europe but provides some in North America, Asia, Australia, and Africa, most of which display an uncluttered, modern look. VERDICT Despite the small size of abodes, there are plenty of suggestions here about how to make any small space in the home appear commodious. © Copyright 2015.
