The book of R A first course in programming and statistics

This is a very inclusive, thorough introduction to R. The first and second parts of the book constitute an introduction to R as a programming language and provide key features of the language, including matrices, arrays, lists, data frames, and the use of conditions and loops. The third part of the book is a basic introduction to statistics, and the fourth part covers statistical testing and modeling, including confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, one-way analysis of variance, and simple and multiple linear regression. The firth part of the work offers an extensive introduction to the use of R for advanced graphics. Many chapters include various exercises. A nice feature is that each chapter concludes with an "Important Code in This Chapter" section, which highlights the code discussed. This title deserves a place in libraries of educational institutions. It will also serve as a good textbook for a variety of courses, such as basic courses in R, basic or advanced courses in statistics, or courses with an emphasis on graphical applications.
