Review by Horn Book Review

Simple sentences let new readers follow the familiar bears as they see dozens of aircraft at an air show (Take Off!) and travel widely via the "Anywhere-Anyplace Machine" (World). The stories are dull vehicles for overly simplistic information, and World unfortunately presents both South America and Africa as single monolithic countries with exotic animals. The recognizable illustrations are as expected. [Review covers the following I Can Read Book titles: The Berenstain Bears Around the World and The Berenstain Bears Take Off!.] (c) Copyright 2017.
