Set one year after the Lorien Legacies (I Am Number Four, et al.), the alien Loric Garde are joined by human teens, including protagonist Taylor, who have developed Legacies such as telekinesis. The government collects these teens into the Earth Garde to fight future invasions, though many humans see them as an abomination.
