Review by Booklist Review

It will come as no surprise to regular watchers of The View, Behar's popular daytime-TV talk show, that she is no fan of the Donald. And if she felt bad before the election, Behar's dismay grew exponentially worse once Trump was in the White House. How to cope? Therapy and medication were possibilities, but Behar chose to do what she does best: vent her feelings, this time in a catchy satire listing, in encyclopedic fashion, all the many things that are wrong in the Land of Trump. Ticked off at the president's Twitter habit? The T entry contains a riff on the narcissism fueling Trump's preferred means of communication. Peeved at Pence? Turn to the P entry for a scathing take on the vice president's LGBTQ record. Like the chatty panel discussion Behar moderates on TV, her assessment of anything and everything even tangentially applicable to the new administration is no-holds-barred. Behar is seriously funny, and her knack of making the serious funny will be devoured by her fans and debunked by Trump's. And that's where the real fun comes in.--Haggas, Carol Copyright 2017 Booklist
