A portrait of a motorcycle-riding, freedom-loving, Vietnam veteran cast in the mold of an outlaw biker. Review by Library Journal Review

This award-winning film challenges stereotypes about returning combat veterans, bikers, immigrants, and residents of RV parks. Vietnam vet Ron "Stray Dog" Hall runs the At Ease park near Branson, MO, and lives a simple life with his new, immigrant wife, Alicia. Many At Ease residents are veterans and bikers, some who can't afford their modest rent. Hall and his buddies participate in the "Run for the Wall" motorcycle tour honoring POWs and MIAs and in memorial ceremonies and funerals for local victims of the Iraq and Afghan wars. Hall also tries to keep his daughter from an earlier marriage on track and works to bring Alicia's sons to the States. VERDICT An extraordinary look at a seemingly gruff, hard-core biker who cares deeply about veterans, country, and family; not to be missed.-Cliff Glaviano, formerly with Bowling Green State Univ.
