With more than 100 entries in little more than 300 pages, this colorfully illustrated book hints at a wealth of economic concepts. Beginning with the origins of economics and major concepts like Marxism and the Keynesian Revolution, the text is divided into nine chapters, Markets, Market Failure, Labor Markets, Business Economics, Concepts, Macroeconomics, Economic Policy, Financial Economics, and Global Economy. All entries are either two or four pages long, except for Housing Market, which covers six. Graphics include charts and photographs, but don't let the format fool you; the concepts are quite sophisticated, so many entries are brief but dense.
