For their seventh recording, John Reischman chose material to showcase the signature Jaybirds blend of old-time and bluegrass music, but this time with an added emphasis on the bluesier side of bluegrass and a surprise foray into the Beatles songbook for good measure. The instrumentals, include some new tunes, both traditional and up tempo along with a waltz and a rollicking old-time tune, Katie Bar the Door.
