Review by School Library Journal Review

K-Gr 2--Along with a companion volume, It's Big Sister Time!, this is the perfect book for soon-to-be older siblings. The book explains that, yes, the new baby is staying, and focuses on the possibilities for fun and companionship rather than the disruptions that a new member, especially a newborn, brings to the mix. Featuring a multiethnic family (the mother has dark brown skin, and the father has lighter skin tones, while the siblings share the spectrum in between), the book clearly and endearingly delivers the message that the arrival of the baby affects them all. VERDICT With a positive focus, this book will be especially useful for children making the adjustment to a growing family.--John Scott, Friends Sch. of Baltimore
