Four case studies of staff in sales, administration and support roles. Their motivational problems challenge the viewer to work out what's gone wrong. What, if anything, could improve their situations? 1 - Top salesman Francis - does he want more money or more respect? 2 - Why is Parminder struggling at work? Is she being harassed? 3 - Patrick complains he hasn't got a desk -- but is there a deeper problem? 4 - Debbie's started making "silly mistakes" - is it because she's afraid of the new system the management are bringing in?
