Covers the 1991 "Treaty on European Union" which established the European Monetary Union (EMU) and issuing the Euro as Europe's common currency. Concludes with a discussion of the current financial difficulties facing the EMU and what is commonly referred to as "Europe's Debt Crisi...s."
