MAKING STUFF is a series designed to show young viewers how objects they encounter everyday are made. The series follows the adventures of a very animated host called Gears and his levitating pal Wiz. In the opening animation, the item to be investigated is shown in one of the TV sets. Gears dashes out into the real world to find some answers, taking with him his special pal who uses his “x-ray” vision to understand the workings of the machines they meet.
