The iconic Italian cyclist Francesco Moser is a legend on two wheels, born and raised in Trentino, Italy, but renowned all over the world. Nicknamed 'Lo sceriffo' (The Sheriff), Moser was dominant from the mid-1970s to the mid-80s, winning the 1977 World Championships, Paris-Roubaix (three times straight), Milan-San Remo, the Giro d'Italia, and dozens of other important races. At the end of his career he broke Eddy Merckx's long-standing hour record in Mexico City.
