Review by Booklist Review

Aristia, or Tia, was mistakenly thought of as a prophesied companion for the crown prince. When the right girl shows up, Tia is relegated to an imperial consort and highly mistreated. She finally stands up for herself, but it earns her a death sentence. On the guillotine, Tia prays to the gods for a do-over, and wakes up in her 10-year-old body with all her memories intact! She gets her second chance and vows not to live her life the same. This story interestingly brings together two tropes: the person from another world concept popular in isekai manga, and the reincarnation/reborn trope. The deviations on these tropes is that the story doesn't focus on the person from another world, nor is Tia reborn on a separate planet. The full-color illustrations throughout are enjoyable and invoke the feeling of watching an anime. Readers might want to know that, in one scene of immense cruelty, Tia is raped, but the entire scene is not shown on the page, and the scene breaks away before we see anything happen to Tia. Overall, this popular webcomic in novel form is a solid introduction into a unique story that will captivate readers.
