Review by School Library Journal Review

K-Gr 2--One day at Kamp Koral, Narlene visits SpongeBob and Patrick. When she opens her bag, out pops her baby brother Nobby! She needs SpongeBob and Patrick to watch Nobby while she heads off to a family feud. But Nobby is a bit more trouble than expected. He uses the art supplies to make a spider web that traps other campers. He pushes kids off the slap line and into the water. He rides jellyfish and shoots bolts from their tentacles, setting camp cabins on fire. When SpongeBob and Patrick find him, he's in a manners lesson; and when Narlene returns, her brother is no longer wild. With its fun twists, its final smart surprise, and its engaging characters, this adapted Kamp Koral contribution engages young readers with its bright palette and simple but accurate expressions: These fun faces are sure to yield a laugh. This book is also sure to support readers as they move from reading simple sentences to engaging with full plot lines. With its amusing illustrations and its text, this rowdy read is sure to pull even the most reluctant readers into the story. VERDICT This rollicking Kamp Koral adventure is sure to engage young readers.--Jennifer Strattman
