For this Romeo and Juliet, Joëlle Bouvier returns to the universality of the fable, evacuating a precise period or costumes that are too connoted, focusing her research on the heart of the drama.This creation is an encounter with the dancers of the Ballet du Grand Théâtre de Genève. “Together, we slipped our bodies into the sweetness or the fury of this music, we let ourselves be inspired by its rhythm, its flavour and its poetry to write the gestures, the lifts, the outbursts, the breaks that will tell the story of the passionate adventure of the two lovers.
