Set in 1788 Prague, this historical drama follows Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Aneurin Barnard) as he escapes the frustrating elite of Vienna. Invited by the self-obsessed Baron Saloka (James Purefoy), Mozart’s presence in Prague unleashes a series of dramatic and tragic events, including a forbidden affair with young soprano Zuzanna (Morfydd Clark). Directed by John Stephenson and based on true-life events, the film explores the turbulent months that inspired Mozart’s creation of the opera "Don Giovanni."
