In the irreverently funny THE NEW GUY, nerdy high school senior Dizzy Harrison (DJ Qualls) gets a second chance on life with side-splitting results. During a forced vacation in prison, Dizzy is schooled in the art of “cool” by his fellow inmate Luther (Eddie Griffin), who takes the hopeless young man under his wing and teaches him how to win through intimidation and attitude.
