She doesn't know how to move forward when the love of her life is looking at her like a stranger. In a tragic and serious story, Dixon skillfully weaves a story that shows how alien romances can tug at your very human heartstrings. Readers will be drawn to the very relatable problem of having to re-form a connection with a partner once thought lost, and all of the trials that come with the task. The character of Stacy showcases the quiet strength of being the mother and caretaker that takes care of all while missing her partner. Fans of Dixon, sf romance, and second-chance romances in general will adore this story of reconnection and true love.
