Guilt, fear, shame, so many emotions have kept her from contacting her former best friend. On the cruise, things click back into place, reminding Micah how much she loved music and performing. She and John also fall back into their friendship, but now there's an edge to it, with a tension between them that neither can ignore. VERDICT This engaging, heartwarming, steamy contemporary romance is well-written, with depth, emotion, and absolute sincerity on every page.
