Review by Booklist Review
Don't open Morgan's first book if you're allergic to color. Every page is brilliantly hued, whether just text or photographs of dream-worthy interiors. In a vision dominated by pink, Morgan also allows other colors to prevail, and even better, provides good advice on finding your own inspirations (mood boards, social media), designing DIY spaces, and living with the shades you've chosen. Six simple rules drive Morgan's how-tos. If you don't love it, don't live with it. Always prime first. Take your time. Don't fear failure. Use three colors. Seven elements finish a room. Morgan's guidance is pragmatic above all, as she explains the color wheel (a must for any decorator), styles from Art Deco to psychedelic, paint types and tools, and more. Put on some sunglasses, and carefully consider Morgan's recommendations.
