A hiker lost in the desert offers to help a child search for his missing parents. Instead, he is led to a canyon where he takes refuge with a woman living alone in a broken-down shack. He soon begins to suspect that she might not be there willingly. After a failed escape attempt, he realizes he is trapped and at the mercy of a sadistic cult with a mysterious agenda.
