So happy together A novel

Olivia Worley

Book - 2025

"Jane and Colin are soulmates. He just doesn't know it yet. For twenty-four-year-old Jane, finding love in New York City is even harder than making it as a playwright. So when Jane meets Colin, she can't believe her luck: they're perfect for each other. Even when Colin breaks off their relationship after six dates, Jane knows this is just a stumbling block. She'll get him back. She knows she will. That is, until Colin starts dating Zoe-perfect, luminous Zoe. Even worse, she's actually kind of nice. But Zoe doesn't have what it takes to love Colin. All Jane has to do is prove it, and they'll be so happy together. But when Jane sneaks into Colin's apartment, she makes a shocking discovery-one that ...will ensnare them all in a dark web of lies, secrets, and murder. Unrelentingly twisty and utterly compelling, So Happy Together is an unputdownable, shattering read-a riveting blend of You, Riley Sager, and Promising Young Woman. Some hearts get broken, some get even." --publisher.

Jane knows Colin is her soulmate. Yes, he dumped her after six dates, and yes, he is now dating Zoe, a beautiful artist. Jane just needs to give him time; he'll come around eventually. When Jane decides to "accidentally" bump into Colin at a coffee shop, she does not expect Zoe to call Jane over and invite her to a party--to befriend her. Soon, Jane and Zoe are spending time together, making Colin uncomfortable. When Jane finds Colin in a compromising position, she believes she can finally earn his trust, and eventually, his love. How far can Jane push the boundaries of her obsession before everything falls apart? Worley's (The Debutantes, 2024) newest thriller is propulsive and extremely tense. From the very beginning, Jane is obviously unstable. While the reader will eventually learn why, the revelation is timely and adds to the discombobulated tone of the entire plot. Worley is skilled at making Jane both unpredictably disturbing and empathetic. This well done addition to any thriller collection is recommended for fans of Ruth Ware, Riley Sager, and Freida McFadden.
