The story of a family who move to the South African bush to set up and run a game reserve – and sort out the problems within the family itself. When the series begins, Danny Trevanion (a widower and vet in his early forties) is living at home with his eighteen-year-old daughter Rosie, Sarah (his wife of six months) and Sarah’s two children from her previous marriage, eight-year-old Olivia and thirteen-year-old Evan. Family tensions are running high as they attempt to build a new life.
