Author Sage Collins's first novel was a breakout hit, but a year after she unexpectedly skyrocketed to fame, she's struggling with writer's block as she tries to draft the much-anticipated sequel her fans are demanding. While traveling to New York for an author panel at Comic Con, Sage encounters up-and-coming British actor Theo Sharpe. Unfortunately, so do the paparazzi, who mistake Sage for Theo's girlfriend. After starting off on the wrong foot, Sage and Theo agree that there is nothing romantic between them, but the press and their fans think otherwise. When Comic Con ends in disaster for Sage, she takes off for an impromptu trip to a remote town in Scotland to try and finish her novel. There, Sage is shocked to encounter Theo, who may be the answer to her writer's block after all. VERDICT Sage and Theo's love story feels more believable than most celebrity romances, with a well-earned happily-ever-after, thanks to the grounded, well-drawn characters and realistic conflicts. Dramis's (The Curse of Sins) first foray into contemporary romance is perfect for fans of Kate Clayborn and Paige Toon.--Whitney Kramer
