Familiar touch

DVD - 2025

"Ruth, a retired cook in her 80s, enjoys preparing breakfast daily in her cozy kitchen, though small and puzzling errors have now begun to punctuate her comfortable routine. Soon, Ruth finds herself moving into an assisted living facility, which she does not remember having selected for herself. Among her fellow memory care residents, Ruth feels lost and adrift, certain she has found herself somewhere she does not belong. As she gradually begins to accept the warmth and support of care workers Vanessa and Brian, she finds new ways to ground herself in her boy, even as her mind embarks on a journey all its own."--
