Carrington

Streaming video - 1995

The true story of the relationship between the English painter Dora Carrington (Emma Thompson) and writer Lytton Strachey (Jonathan Pryce). Between 1915 and 1932, they experimented with a way of life beyond the conventional standards, a life which broke all the taboos of society of their desire to live as freely and honestly as they could. They acknowledged openly what most are still reluctant to discuss: that a great many differences can exist between spiritual love and physical desire.
