Facing a provision in his grandfather's will requiring him to marry by his thirty-second birthday in order to retain control of his family's chocolate business, Dario Cotogna organizes a competition at his Italian villa to select a potential spouse. Dario's struggle with agoraphobia complicates his personal and professional circumstances. Among the contestants is Charlie Moore, a tattoo artist and primary caregiver to his grandparents, who hopes that marriage into the Cotogna family will resolve his financial difficulties. Over the course of the competition, personal relationships develop alongside questions of family obligation, inheritance, and commitment.
