This vast transcontinental nation is home not only to its Native people and the settlers that have joined them over the centuries, but to entities much darker and more inexplicable. Since before Christopher Columbus made landfall on its shores, America’s mountains, deserts, plains and forests have been haunted by the weird and the strange. That didn’t change when cities began to rise out of the land and highways began to cross it. If anything, the paranormal activity only increased. Today the United States is riddled with chilling tales of hauntings and visitations. It’s stalked by human killers and by unknown creatures even more dangerous.
