Popular during the Victorian era, paper weaving has faded into obscurity in most of the Western world-with the exception of Denmark and Norway, where it is as commonplace a craft as origami in Japan. The preferred medium for paper weaving is colored copy paper, which is both inexpensive and comes in a variety of colors, making it ideal for crafting.
